Cherry Creek Springs is a community of custom built homes on 115 5-acre or larger lots in northern El Paso County, Colorado. We are situated on 750 acres of high prairie approximately 10 miles east of the town of Monument, and 18 miles northeast of downtown Colorado Springs. We are on the edge of Black Forest in an area that was cleared for cattle grazing several decades ago. This pasture land makes our community ideal for equestrian activities. The community is served by nearly 60 acres of Common Area that runs through the center of the neighborhood, and equestrian easements that provide access from each street.
The Cherry Creek Springs community is bounded by Hodgen Road on the south, Black Forest Road on the west, Walker Road on the north, and Bar X and Herring Roads on the east. Hwy 83 and I-25, just a few miles away, provide easy access to both Colorado Springs and Denver. Properties adjacent to our community are predominantly larger farmsteads or similar custom homes on large lots.
Development began in Cherry Creek Springs in 1997 and has continued at a fairly steady pace. Only a few lots remain undeveloped.
